AVARE KAALU GODHI TARI HUGGI/MOCHAKOTTAI PONGAL/SURTI PAPADI DALIA KICHDI

It is a trend to add avare kalu/field beans to any dish that is prepared during the season. Adding avare kalu to ven pongal is a similar trend/ Further modifying the dish to suit diet conscious friends is my version of dalia chilka moong pongal with avare kalu. A very healthy dish which is packed with a lot of fiber, goodness of moong, field beans and dalia. Though chilika moong and dalia are dubbed as diet foods they add texture and taste to this kichdi. Try this and find out yourselves.
